Kuaiqi

Kuaiqi (快棋, literally "fast chess/Go") is China's dedicated rapid-play tournament, analogous to Japan's NHK Cup and Korea's TV Baduk tournaments. Speed Go tests a player's intuition and reading speed under extreme time pressure, often revealing a different hierarchy than standard-time events. Many top professionals consider rapid play the purest test of natural Go talent.
