Twin Cities Cup Exchange

A Shanghai-Taipei goodwill series run jointly by the two cities' sports bureaus since 2020, played online for its first years and in person from 2024, with the hosting duty alternating between them. Each side qualifies twenty young players through months of local rounds before they meet across the board, and the finals are capped by a showcase game between one professional from each city. It is one of the few Go events built explicitly as a cross-strait exchange rather than a title race.
