The Nongshim Baeksansoo Cup brings the win-and-continue relay of its famous sibling, the Nongshim Cup, to the generation that built modern Go. Named for Nongshim's Baeksansoo mineral water, drawn from the springs of Baekdu Mountain, it fields teams of four senior professionals from China, Japan and Korea, each winner staying at the board until someone beats them. Cho Hunhyun, Kobayashi Koichi, Liu Xiaoguang and Rui Naiwei have all taken their turn in the chair.
