The Asian TV Cup is an international rapid Go tournament that pits the television tournament champions from China (CCTV Cup), Japan (NHK Cup), and Korea (KBS Cup) against each other. Using rapid time controls suited for broadcast, it provides a rare direct comparison between the TV champions of the three major Go nations. The tournament has featured some of the game's biggest names in their element as rapid-play specialists.
