World Mind Sports Games

The World Mind Sports Games, organized by the International Mind Sports Association (IMSA), feature Go as one of several mind sports alongside chess, bridge, draughts, and xiangqi. Held roughly every four years in conjunction with major sporting events, the Go competition includes both individual and team categories with players representing their national federations. First held in Beijing in 2008, the Games represent Go's integration into the broader mind sports movement.
