Xinao Cup
The Xinao Cup (also known as the ENN Cup, after its sponsor the ENN Group, a major Chinese energy company) is a world open Go championship whose 1st edition ran from 2016 to 2017. The tournament featured a 64-player field with seeded players from China, Japan, Korea, and Taiwan competing in a knockout format with a best-of-five final. Ke Jie won the inaugural title in December 2017. The tournament was part of the wave of Chinese-sponsored world championships that emerged in the 2010s.
