The Kansai Ki-in League was a professional Go league competition organized by the Kansai Ki-in in Osaka. Distinct from the ranking-focused Oteai, this league provided a competitive format for Kansai-affiliated professionals to compete among themselves in a structured season. The Kansai Ki-in maintained its independence from the Nihon Ki-in until 2017, and tournaments like this league were part of what made the Osaka organization a distinct pillar of Japanese professional Go.
